YSP’s Toronto chapter organized a clean-up to beautify the beach in Sir Casimir Gzowski Park by the shore of Lake Ontario on April 30, 2022. The melting of the snow from the long winter revealed numerous small pieces of trash that were washed up by the lake. This activity was joined by twenty volunteers, aged 13 years or older. After the cleanup, a friendly game of volleyball was organized at a local gym as a reward for the participants who dedicated their afternoon to helping clean their community.
